Good Morning Denise,
Glad to see you back! You'll get rid of those 7 pounds in no time, don't worry, just be persistent. You can do it .
My weekend was good, I was active, did a lot of walking and moving. But I also indulged when we went to the basketball game yesterday. I don't think I did tremendously bad, but I was enjoying myself and I never ate any one thing by myself. It was shared between 4 people who could all eat more than me. But I had pizza, nachos, fries, philly cheesesteak and cheesecake and a drink called Freaky Deaky (it was good). Weekends are always hard.
The scale read 182, so I am still below 183, I don't think I've seen that number in a week, maybe more. I'm talking like its 5 pounds, but a pound is a pound and its gone and I'm not looking for it.
This week I am back to my regular weekly menu.
Breakfast: Protein Smoothie
Lunch: Taco Salad
Dinner: Steak and Salad
Snacks
Peaches w/ splenda and cinnamon (tastes like a peach pie)
Philly Swirl
Have a great week.

I'm one of those lucky rare ones that had a gallstone in the bile duct after having the gallbladder removed. I thought I was having a heart attack!! It's very painful.
Isn't Zelnorm a treatment for IBS? Could you have that maybe? I do, and it's also very painful and not much fun when an attack hits. I call those days, 'potty days'.

Topic: Roll call... Monday weigh in....
Hello July Babies:
I've missed Spyder's weekly weigh in post and thought I'd revive it. Whether you are:
- At goal and maintaining comfortably
- Struggling to maintain;
- Happily gaining; or
- Losing more...
A weekly weigh may be beneficial to all! So... let's celebrate our successes and offer encouragement to the JULY BABIES wherever they may be on this LIFELONG journey. The journey never ends, we must be vigilant and this might be a way to make it easier. So where am I? As if you didn't know:
Today's Weight: 227
Starting Weight: 326
Goal Weight: 170
Category: "Losing more"
CELEBRATION (OR OPPPORTUNITY TO IMPROVE) FOR THE WEEK: I've gained 7 lbs!!! UGH!!! Last week's eating and exercise was dismal. I was on business travel and the plan went out the window. Today's a new beginning (AGAIN)! [NOTE: Your celebration/opportunity does not have to be weight related!]
Thanks for your support and encouragement. Your turn....

Hi Nancy!!!
I'm with you.... I need this train, if only to keep me from gaining 50 lbs!!!
I've read on other sites where folks gain their weight back. The train helps me to stay within a range that is workable. I can see how this weight thing can get out of control very easily. This WLS does not guarantee permanent weight loss. It was a jump start on a journey that requires consistent quality controls to make sure we don't go back. There was a woman on Dr. Phil who gained back every last pound - over 100 lbs. I need this train...
Nancy, I'm sorry to hear about the pressures you are under right now. I am so proud of the way you have handled not completely reverting back to food for comfort. I was an ice cream queen. Whenever things weren't quite right, I head for a pint of Haagen Daaz. By the time I got to the bottom of carton, I'd always feel better.
If you ever need to just vent (even if it's not weight related), I'm here for you. You've got support.. it's not always about the weight... it's about rolling with the punches through the life journey too!!!
Have a great day!!

It sounds like you have very good GP... very proactive. I'll bet the medicine will work. I'll keep you in my prayers... There'll probably be a good side effect to your diet limitations... more weight loss!!!
Take good care...

Phyllie Swirls
Nutrition:
855 Calories
