Hello Folks,
Well still at 159 and occasionally see 160. I am sitting right on the fence so I need a good drop into the 50's to keep me there. How on earth do some of you ladies get sooooo much protein in. I will really have to work on that. I try for 80 per day and ususally hit it but not always. I wonder how much we are actually suppose to have....I noticed your protien over the 120 and this isn't the first day you have had high levels. That is good but it would be quite a stretch for me...a new goal prehaps........hugs to all..........Karen.

Hello, my wonderful July Family,
I saw my cardiologist on Friday and she prescribed a medication I was on before when I was in atril fib. Have to wait until there is enough in my system before she will cardiovert me. If the jerk in the ER had prescribed it, I could be fixed by now. Oh, well, this teaches me patience. There are certain disadvantages to living in a small town, but I'll take it over a big city any day.
I am losing the fluid I retained while my heart was acting up. Hopefully I will get back in the losing mode and go on to my goal--or at least to the onederfuls.
Everyone keep on your good work.

Hi there everyone.
I haven't been on the scale either. I've been doing pretty well - still a bit of stress eating, but I'm very aware of it and trying to at least make good choices. Again, my clothes don't feel any tighter, so I think I'm ok.
I really have to get back to my exercise. My co-worker's mother passed away and she's been out, so work has been really hectic with me being the only one here, and I haven't gotten out for my mid-day walks. I really do have to get back to it because I signed up for the Chase Corporate Challenge in Central Park in NYC on June 21 - that's about 3.5 miles, so I better get my behind in gear!!
Hugs,
Nancy

I overslept this morning... so no water aerobics
25 minutes Pilates
Have a great day!!

My scale is up, too. I WAS 219, but found myself at 225 this morning. Of course, my body is a bit puffy with water...not that it's any excuse. I (re)joined Weigh****chers this evening. After a dinner of chicken fajitas (sans tortilla), I was 229 at my official weigh in. Ugh. I am committing myself to attending meetings until the first of June. I will do my best to stay on track during that time...I'm hoping that the $12 fee and the meetings will keep me motivated. If not, it's only four weeks.
Here's what I had today:
B~english muffin, ff cream cheese
L~chicken wrap, cottage cheese, apple
D~fajita chicken with onions and peppers, guacamole, 1 serving chips and salsa
S~protein shake, one tiny chocolate, a few baby carrots
Exercise: 40 minute walk around my side of town (with daughter, which is a bonus!)
I have my calories calculated to be around 1400...I estimated my dinner really high (at least I hope!).

We went to Dave and Buster's. It was a shot, so i'm assuming there wasn't much sugar in it. I haven't really tried any of the big mixed drinks. It went to my head pretty quickly, but the effects wore off just as fast.

Ready to get your freak on? Then get ready for Bacardi Limon and Disaronno Amaretto with a jolt of lime juice and a splash of cranberry juice. It's freakin' amazing!
It really is amazing, the drink didn't even taste like there was any alcohol in it.
