Hi Mike! Thanks for the update. I have a few friends that have had tummy tuck or lower body lift, and they've been battling the swelling thing for months. So if it happens to you, try not to get too discouraged. Is that it for you with plastics, or will you be having something else done? I'd love to see pix! Irene

Todays weight: 224 Starting weight: 448 Goal weight: 148 Category: "losing more or else!" LOL Celebration for the week: I bought a bike a few days ago and have been riding it everyday. It's a bit scarey, I havn't been on a real bike in over 20 years! So definately scarey but fun. In the last two weeks I have upped my exercise and added the bicycling and have lost several pounds so I'm feeling pretty awesome. And to top all that off all my jeans are getting baggy ~Tanja

Hi Everyone!! I hope this finds everyone well! I know I haven't been on much anymore, I'm sorry. I started working full time again after 5 yrs of staying home with my triplets so I've been a busy girl! I love it so much though, I needed a break so badly and to get out of the house! My kids are going to Kindergarden in August and they go to pre-k now so I only am away from them for about 4hrs of the day. I miss everyone here and read the posts but don't have much time for replying. I'm 4lbs below goal (146 now) and set my new goal for 145 but either way, I'm happy. I'm about 4 months post plastics (Breast lift w/implants, Tummy Tuck, Thigh Lift and Lipo) and I'm doing really well, nice and healed and very pleased with my results. I got my belly button pierced too and just love it! Tomorrow is my 7yr wedding anniversary (together for 13yrs though) and we are renewing our vows in Vegas on June 10th, I so can't wait!!!! I bought a tiny little white sheer halter dress and we're doing it at a little outdoor gazebo at night it will be all lit with white lights, just one couple will be with us, very quiet little ceremony but we're having pics and video done so I'll share them with you guys when I get them. Here's my latest pic taken last night, we went out for our anniversary. http://www.geocities.com/aguilartrio/CABPICS/xnew030.jpg Anyway, thanks for reading and everyone still working to get to goal, I have so much faith in you and I know you will get there!! Keep on keepin on!!! Hugs to all! Deejay 262/146 (below goal) 1/19/06 - PS...BL/BA, TT, Thigh Lift, Lipo

Topic: RE: Insurance fraud??
Send them a letter in writing asking for the policy in writing. My RE gave me a booklet that has a sample letter in it to send for just that case. It is very good. If you need a copy of it, let me know. His entire booklet was on making sure you get insurance to pay for everything you are entitled to. I have to have surgery in the next few weeks because there is something weird going on with one of my tubes. He wants to see if I have adhesions or anything that are getting in the way. Not looking forward to the process. Good luck with your treatments and hopefully you and your hubby will have a baby in the not so near future.

Topic: RE: Insurance fraud??
I've been dealing with insurance regarding this whole pre-existing condition clause. In my case, I didn't have insurance for about six months after moving to Ohio until I got married last fall. At that point, I made appointments to get establisted with new doctors here and everything. I saw a doctor on Dec 27 that wanted to do some follow-up work. On Jan. 1, I was eligible for insurance from my own job so we signed up for that being told that my work insurance would be my primary, hubby's would now be my secondary. Because I was at the doctor 3 days before that took affect, they had refused to pay for any of the following treatments. It has been a huge fight. Finally last week, I got them to accept my proof of credible coverage from the secondary insurance to pay any of the claims. It's been a mess. One thing I've learned from it all, is you've had to have been diagnosed with a certain CPT code in the last 3 (sometimes 6 months depending on the company) for it to be considered a pre-existing condition. So for example, they covered my lab work in January that my surgeon has a standing order on because those diagnosis codes hadn't be used for me for more than six months. (It had been seven.) I'm sorry you're going through this with your allergy meds. Insurance companies can be so frustrating. Jen
