I fell into a bag of peanut butter pretzels - but otherwise did ok. I'm back on board today - that's the great thing - it's a new day and I can always try again. Here's my plan: B: 4 oz. 1% milk with 1/2 scoop Isopure protein powder L: white tuna (3 oz) with some cucumber and green pepper slices D: Green salad with 3 oz tuna, 12 med. shrimp, tomato, cucumber and green pepper and SF salad dressing Snacks: WW Flakes & Fiber cereal SF Jello 1/2 Atkins PB granola bar Totals: Calories: 895 Carbs: 28 ( I don't count the carbs in veggies) Protein: 106 Exercise: It's a beautiful day, so I'm going to walk for 1/2 hour at lunchtime. I'll also do a WATP tape when I get home. Hugs, Nancy

Good morning.... Today is my 23rd month post-op. I am 4 lbs less than I was this time one year ago. I'm grateful for having maintained over this past year, but really had hoped to have lost more. It's not over yet, onward and downward! Yesterday was okay... although I fell into a bag of oatmeal cookies!!! I've got to find something to curb my junk craze. I'm told that Lawry's pork rinds are good sources of protein and snacks. Haven't been able to find them in St. Louis as yet. Here's today's gameplan: Breakfast: Tilapia Snack: AchievOne Lunch: Shrimp Lettuce Lite Dressing Snack: AchievOne Dinner: Salmon Lettuce Lite Dressing Nutrition: 882 Calories 21 Fat 16 Carbs 121 Protein Exercise: Water aerobics - 1 hr. Have a great day!! Denise

WOW! That is one big tattoo! Or maybe you're just really, really small I got a small butterfly tattoo on my ankle for my 320th birthday last year. As painful as it was, I'd like another one on my back somewhere (shoulder maybe) that has the Chinese symbol for truth...or honesty...or perserverence...or something like that. Your tattoo artist did a nice job...it's cute and colorful! Pamela

A mediocre day for me...at best. Went to the lake with my dad and daughter. I didn't exercise, and I allowed myself to get too hungry that I overdid it at dinner. B~english muffin L~sandwich D~salad (not the healthy type, either), 2 steamed potstickers S~full fat yogurt, orange, hot chocolate, small slice of cheesecake Tomorrow, I'm planning to attend the nutritional meeting that my bariatric program has each month. I'm not sure I'll learn anything new...but maybe a refresher course would be good. As for Weigh****chers...I did it for a month and lost one pound (on my scale). It's cheaper to pay the gas money and go to a WLS support group, which is probably what I REALLY need anyway. Well...goodnight! Pamela 352/218/150

My biggest fear is gaining the weight back. I have nightmares about it - guess I still don't trust myself not to give in. I have made a promise to myself that I will NEVER allow myself to get over 175 lbs., and so far I have stuck to it. I hope we can all stay on the board here and offer support to each other. For me, it's so important to have people who are going through the same experience as I am. I really rely on you all! Hugs, Nancy

Hey Nancy!!! Glad you're still on the train! I watched a show on Bravo last night about WLS surgery and it said regain is highly probable unless patients are diligent. One positive note is that there is a greater chance of maintaining weight loss with WLS. Studies have shown that folks that lose weight with diet and exercise alone have a 90% chance of gaining back the weight. There was a man who weighed 1200 lbs and lost 900 of it with Richard Simmons. He gained all the weight back within 36 months! Okay, diligence is the word for me!!! Have a great day!! Denise
