I'm so glad when I see you here! The July 2004 board is a lonely place these days!
I've been doing well too. I started SBD last Monday and I'm down from 200.5 to 193.5, so I can't complain. I love this way of eating - I'm eating all day. Once I get past the first couple of days of getting the sugar and bad carb cravings out of my system, I really don't miss them at all. I look forward to my salads and yogurt and lite swiss cheese and nuts.
Keep hanging in there Lisa and I will too!!
Love ya!

Of course you're hungry!! Remember to drink lots of water, decaf tea, etc. to help fill you up. Remember, the worst of it is over!
I've been doing great on the SBD - it really works wonderfully for me. I feel like I'm eating all day long and I'm never hungry. I started on Monday morning and I'm down 4 lbs. already! Here's my plan for today.
B: Eggbeaters with a handful of reduced fat shredded cheddar, 1 slice turkey bacon, 7 oz. low sodium V-8
S: celery with lite Laughing Cow cheese
L: big salad with salmon, tomato, roasted red peppers, sliced black olives, cucumber and 2T Ranch dressing
S: lite Finlandia swiss cheese, 15 walnuts
D: Turkey chili, side salad
S: either a glass of milk, a yogurt or ricotta cheese with Splenda and vanilla
I'm exercising a few times a week. We have a tap dance recital coming up so we're practicing three times a week for an hour.
Hang in there Lisa, and hey, where are all of our other July 2004 babies????
B: Quaker Weight Control Oatmeal w/blueberries
L: egg salad (with a tiny bit of mayo); string cheese
S: Scrambled Eggs & Cheese; celery and pb

Hey Lisa! I'm glad to see you here and hope you hang around for awhile!
I'm starting back on SBD today - my awful number is 200.5. I want to get down to 175. I keep thinking about the Spring and Summer coming and I don't want things to get any worse than they are. I've never been this high since my surgery and I just won't allow myself to do this.
I'm going to post my menu every day just for the heck of it - somehow it helps me.
B: 6 oz. low sodium V-8; 1/2 c. Eggbeaters with a palmful of LF shredded cheddar
S: sliced cucumber with lite Laughing Cow cheese
L: big salad with roasted red pepper, grilled chicken, a couple of pieces of tofu, a handful of white kidney beans, a few sliced black olives, some portobello mushroom, 1/2 lf cheese stick and Ranch dressing.
S: some lf Finlandia swiss and a few walnuts
D: cheddar cheese omelet and a side salad
S (if needed) ricotta cheese with Splenda and vanilla flavoring
I have tap class tonight, so that will take care of my exercise for the day. It's too cold to walk here and we're supposed to have a big storm tomorrow into Wednesday, so I really can't count on that. I'll do my WATP tapes on the other days.
Let's help each other stay on track!!!
