3 months out...how is everyone??
Hi all, I am just checking in, I do lurk every day, but don't always have time to post. I have my 3 month post-op pics on my profile. I am doing great, down to 222 as of this morning, thats 57 pounds since surgery, and a total of 94 pounds from my highest weight. I am so close to the century club and onderland, those are my next two goals. I no longer need my sleep apnea machine or my inhaler. I have a lot more energy, and the best part....I AM HAPPY!! I don't feel so depressed, and grumpy like I used to be, and it has helped my marriage tremendously for me to have lost the chip on my shoulder. Anyhow, I see some old faces on here but a lot of new ones. A LOT of our big time posters have disappeared! Where are Willby and Candy these days???? Hope everyone is as happy as I am these days! Take care and I will check in again soon!

Karyn I'm glad to hear things are going so well for you and CONGRATULATIONS on the excellent weight loss!!
I see some things in your post that have me written all over them. I am so grumpy and tired lately. I am so hoping as the weight comes off that will change. I have been walking more but still tired. It's hard to believe it's been two weeks since surgery. I get my staples and feeding tube out on Tuesday so I'm hoping that will let me get a little more sleep at night too. I toss and turn trying to get comfortable and these darn staples are poking and prodding me all night.
I'm off to check out the new pics...
Hugs,
Jamie
You're going to be just fine! A friend of mine had about four strictures after surgery before she finally adjusted. They doped her up (she was still conscious but not really) to dilate her stoma. She is the biggest baby I know, and she amazingly didn't freak out. You're going to do terrific and be as good as new!

I had a stricture and they did the scope. It was very easy - they sedate you so you don't even know what's going on, but it's not a heavy anesthesia - they wake you up right afterwards. It's really not bad, so don't worry.
I'm glad they finally found out what it was - the worst part is not knowing.
Please let us know how you make out!
Hugs,
Nancy
