Thanks, Monna! You know 105 lbs ago, I'd still be on the floor trying to get up! I see my doctor in about an hour, we'll see what he has to say. Diabetes runs in my family. I was borderline before the surgery and cleared afterwards. I hope I'm still clear! Have a great day!!! Denise

Hi Everyone, I was MIA over the weekend. Was not feeling great, computer problems, and so much to do. Stayed pretty much with the program, but not being able to do my hour long cardio every day is taking its toll. I cannot seem to lose the weight I gained when I was sick. I think I will go to the gym on my non-class days to do cardio on the recumbent bike. One of the instructors has had problems with plantar fasciitis and said nothing really helped until she got the spring shoes. Think I'll have to try that. Today's plan Breakfast 2 boiled eggs, 1 banana Lunch Lean Cuisine Pork with Cherry Sauce Dinner Boca Burger with 1 oz. ww spaghetti mixed green salad Snack tangerine string cheese pistachios SF popsicle Totals Calories: 1029 Fat: 34 Carbs: 120 Protein: 78 Have been to the gym for 20 minutes on the recumbent and 50 minutes of weight training. Have a good day everyone. Denise, watch that blood sugar. Monna

I had a lousy weekend with food. I think I pretty much ate constantly, and nothing healthy. I worked so hard last week to say "good," only to muck it up with a weekend. I really have to get weekends under control. B~English muffin L~turkey wrap, cottage cheese, crackers D~steak fajita, broccoli S~apple, peanut butter, small dinner roll Exercise: It's nice out, going to take my daughter for a walk Pamela 352/222/150

Oh my goodness, Denise, I'm glad that you're ok. That is a serious wake up call. Its sad to say, but sometimes, we need to take things to an extreme before they can get better. Thanks for sharing with us. Is it possible to experience a sugar rollercoaster with fruit as well? Take Care, Teah

Hey Teah: According to my doctor, fruit is fine. The body can metabolize it well. It's the refined sugars that get you. If sugar is within the first 3 ingredients on the nutrition facts, the item should be avoided. This is not easy, but how it has to be... Have a great day!! Denise
