Tuesday-July Babies Excercise Challenge
Reserve a time slot each day for physical activity, and protect that time. Yes, schedules are busy, but you deserve some time for yourself! If you wait to find the time, you probably won't do it.
Consider scheduling an exercise appointment just as you would a haircut or an important meeting. Create an excercise plan by writing it down. You should track each day what you did.
Once you schedule it, stick to it. When you find yourself in a time crunch or you feel your motivation lagging, remind yourself of how great you feel after an exercise session. Use that memory to help you stick to your plan for exercise.
Remember: Use your fitness plan to review your exercise schedule, log your exercise minutes, track your weekly progress and boost your exercise IQ.
So what have you done today?

I get up an extra 30 minutes early to exercise (5:30 AM - now that's dedication! ). I also do another 30 minutes about an hour after I get home from work - believe it or not it actually gives me the energy to get through the rest of the day.
This morning I did the WATP 2 mile high calorie burn. I'm hoping I get my new tapes today so I can do one of those this evening - if not, I'll do the 2 mile WalkBlaster.
Hugs,
Nancy
Nancy,
You sure are dedicated...my goodness 5:30 am!
I am still happily under my comforter at that time. In the Spring and Summer I get up early to beat the heat, however, during the Fall and Winter....brrrrrr...After losing my weight I am cold all the time.
Excercise is a great way to get the extra pick-me-up. The endorphine rush is amazing. Just when I think I am exhausted if I only get up and move I feel a whole heck of a lot better.
