That should be enough space as its fairly adjustable. It is stand up and I find myself waving around like a crazy person trying to hit the balls, etc coming at me. Gads, LOL I hope my neighbors aren't looking. The program does have some ab work/floor work, stretching, warming up sessions too. But it really is a good idea to stretch, warm up/cool down to keep injury
risks low, besides that who doesn't need ab work? If you decide to get it, I doubt you would regret it. I have done a lot of working out, was even a 2 hr a day weight training junkie at one time, and this is so much more fun and will kick your butt into gear without being boring.
