Gee, guess I'm the first one here today, so Denise, I hope you won't mind me starting it off.... Had another good day yesterday - felt strong and motivated with the loss of two pounds in as many days. I did have one 'fat girl' moment. I went to the CVS to get something and ended up buying a small bag of peanut butter pretzel nuggets. I knew I should walk away, but I didn't. I ended up eating about 10 of them, until I was kind of uncomfortable in the tummy, then stopped at a garbage can and tossed the rest of the bag. Yes, even after 18 months I can still scare myself.... I weighed this morning and briefly saw 173, but the scale settled on 174.0 and I'm happy with that. Here's my plan for today - it seems like an awful lot for such a few calories, but we'll see how I do: B: 3 egg whites scrambled and 2 slices of Louis Rich turkey bacon S: Carb Clever peaches, 1/2 scoop Unjury L: Boca Burger, 3 oz tuna salad (with FF mayo), small green salad S: Carb Fix Pretzels, 1/2 scoop Unjury D: Tilapia (made with low carb bread crumbs and 2 T spaghetti sauce) 4 oz. and 6 large shrimp, 1 cup cabbage S: WW Flakes & Fiber cereal Totals: Calories: 874 Carbs: 43 Protein: 125 Water: 80 oz. Exercise: Did the 2 mile WATP for Abs with resistance bands In the words of Denise...."WE CAN DO THIS!!" Hugs, Nancy 280/174/155

Hey Nancy: Congratulations on not eating the whole bag of pretzel nuggets!! That took great restraint. I'm not there yet, once I start... I'm like an alcoholic, I'm not happy until it's all gone. Yesterday was fair... I was not exactly compliant. My daughter and I went shopping and stayed out too long... I didn't have any food with me and so.. we ended up in the mall food court. I had a half a steak sandwich... I'm sure the calories and carbs were out of this world! Given that my official weigh in is on Wednesday, the next 3 days I intend to be 100% compliant if it kills me!! We're getting ready for church and we tend to detour before getting home, so I've packed grilled chicken strips, deli ham and deli turkey. My daughter thinks I'm crazy for carrying meat products in my purse. I have a better chance of compliance when I'm packing meat!!! So... here's the plan: 8:00 am Chicken strips Romaine Lettuce Vinegarette Dressing 10:00 am Deli turkey 3 oz 12:00 noon Deli ham 3 oz 2:00 pm Tilapia 4 oz Applesauce 4:00 pm Sugar free pudding Snacks: Sugar free popsicle Sugar free cider Exercise: Walking!! Have a great day.... WE CAN DO THIS! Denise P.S. -- Nancy, thanks for starting the post... First one online should start it... Let's keep the weight loss train rolling.... can't wait until we're all on the maintenance train!!!

Hi All, Proud of you Nancy. Sometimes if I start on an unhealthy snack, I can stop after a couple bites, but just as often I can't. A couple of weeks ago I bought an exercise ball, but hadn't gotten up the courage to use it. Years of being so fat did a number on my balance and I figured I would spend most of the time picking myself up off the floor. Well, last evening I got out the exercise plan that came with the ball and started in. Do you know how hard it is to do those exercises? After 30 minutes I felt as if I had walked for 3 hours. I did manage to use the ball appropriately most of the time and felt I got a really good workout. Then I used the Gazelle for 45 minutes. Was rewarded this morning with another pound down--228. Today's plan--I am still trying to fight off a cold and don't feel great: Breakfast: 1 deviled egg Lunch: Tuna Salad with low fat mayo, celery Snack: Boca Burger Dinner: A ground meat casserole with extra lean ground beef and ground turkey, shredded potato, onions, tomato juice Green salad with basalmic vinegar Snack: tangerine sting cheese pistachio nuts SF popsicle An hour on the Gazelle (I hope) and 30 minutes with the ball again. Totals: Calories: 1090 Fat: 49 Carbs: 78 Protein: 85 Hang in there, gals. We are making it happen. Monna -161 lbs.

Hi All, Well yesterday started off pretty good, then we went to the casino and played a alittle then had dinner at the buffet. I really didn't do too bad, had mostly shrimp and little turkey vegetable soup. Oh well I'll just keep trying to do better each day. Here is my plan for today: Breakfast: Prime rib Sandwich (no bread), cottage cheese, went to breakfast with my hubby. Lunch: Diet Soda, dry roasted peanuts and crasins (dryed cranberries) Dinner: Shrimp, and king crab legs. Cauliflower Boy this has been a seafood weekend...LOL I'm really bad about getting my water in on the weekends when I'm not at work, during the week I do really well with it. Oh well, I just have to keep trying. You gals all have a great day

Mona and Nancy you guys are doing great. I am so proud of everyone hanging in there. I logged no food today or yesterday. I had lasagana yesterday, but with no pasta...I did do the garlic bread though. I've been grazing on nuts alll weekend, i've got to decide on a healthy way to incorporate these into my diet so that I am satisfied and not eating way too many. My weekend was pretty fair. Other than the nuts, I did well. Been getting plenty of water, all my vitamins and protein. I resolve this week to get in at least 3 days of exercise, so cheer me on guys. I think I will start walking during my lunch hour, instead of just sitting around being unproductive. Until Tomorrow. Teah

Teah, I was having a terrible time with nuts. I just could not stop with a few and because they don't make me sick, I can eat a ton. So I incorporate them into my bedtime snack. If you note on my daily plan, I list pistachio nuts every night. That is what I am craving now, later it may be almonds, or pecans or something else. When I get the feeling I want some nuts, I know that at bedtime I get to have a full ounce and I am able to postpone my gratification. So far, it is working well. Salty, fatty, and starchy foods have always been my comfort foods and it is taking a long time to develop other copings or finding ways to get my comfort foods in a limited and healthy manner. This is definitely a journey with many detours, peaks, and valleys. But think how much less we weight than we did a year and a half ago. Among those of us *****gularly post on this thread, we have lost the equivalent of 3 or 4 women. That is no small feat. Congratulations to all of us. Monna -161 lbs.
