What a daily menu like for you?
Hi All,
Its been ages since I posted, we are almost 1 1/2 years out. Congratulations to all. I have to say I feel much better and am more active than I was pre-surgery. I've been blessed with no complications, I even have a new baby girl (she was born early, but she is doing great).
I was just wondering if 1)you've reached goal and 2) what you typically eat on any given day.
I currently weigh at 185 my goal is to be about 170, so I still have about 15 pounds to lose. I usually get in between 80-90 protein in a day. I know its probably the carbs that prevent me from losing those last 15, but its so hard to not eat them. Any suggestions for improvement are greatly appreciated. Here's a typical menu for me:
Breakfast
High Protein Slimfast (15)
Snack
Yogurt (6)
Lunch
Meat - 4-5 oz Chicken (28-35)
1 TBS Vegetable - Spinach
1 TBS Starch - Rice
Snack
Honey Roasted Peanuts (12)
Dinner
Meat - 4oz (28)
Vegetable
Starch
Snack
Sugar Free Cheesecake
I had my surgery on 7/15 and am 20 pounds or so BELOW my personal goal weight.
(Actually lost 5 pounds over this weekend - not good...but I know why also...)
During the week - I follow a 6 meal a day plan (weekends are a killer for me - as I tend to not eat much at all when I am at home....)
Breakfast - English muffin w/ butter
Snack - Breakfast taco (egg, tortilla, cheese, and some type of meat)
Lunch - Usually a frozen low calorie TV dinner
Snack - String cheese
Dinner - what ever family is eating - focusing primarily on the protein
Snack - chips (yeph - I know bad choice!)
