Anyone Still Losing Hair?
My initial hair loss stopped at around 10 months. These days, it will fall out for a couple of weeks, stop, then fall back out. I don't know if I've gotten lazy with protein (I don't think I do...my lunch is always packed full of it) or my vitamins (a lot more plausible), but my hair just keeps on shedding whenever it feels like it.

Even before I had surgery I shed alot, for a while after surgery it went from alot to a tremendous amount of hair loss. Now I'd say I'm back to normal amount. Occasionally it will taper off to next to nothing and then wham! lots of shedding. I figure it's just something I'll live iwth the rest of my life.

Well I lost the majority of my hair before I had wls. I went on atkins and didn'****ch my protein intake. It caused BIG TIME hair loss, much of which never grew back. I don't know if it didn't grow back because of age-related hormone changes or what. Since my hair was always ridiculously thick - way TOO much hair, it wasn't too bad. So my hair was thinner going into surgery. I did experience some postop hair loss, which stopped and I've had some regrowth. I recently start working for my surgeon (after being home 15+ years) and I eat WAY less now because I don't graze at all. I am experiencing some hair loss which I would expect under the cir****tances, since I've lost 27 lbs since 9/1 when I began working. The only advice I can offer is to take your vites, and try as much as you can to watch your protein levels to go with the flow....
