met with PS

Hi everyone I met with my Plastic/Reconstructive Surgeon yesterday. Good news--I can get my arms and tummy done in one procedure, plus some thigh liposuction, too. More good news--probably will only miss ~2 weeks of work. They are checking with my insurance to see if some of my tummy tuck will be covered. He's not doing the full beltlipectomy (very happy about that). My insurance didn't cover for hubby's surgery, so I doubt they will cover mine, but then again, my stomach looks alot different than his did. He was just big from the skin. I have this weird "double bubble" flap that covers my belly button. I told the doc that I occasionally need to use some antifungal cream to clear things up in my belly button (sorry if TMI, but hey, we're family). The total cost was quoted as $11,500. Not too shabby--I'm happy with that. We are planning on "gettin' er done" sometime between October and December--nothing scheduled yet--waiting on insurance info first. I'll keep you posted. Deeno
