Iron (Good news!)

Good morning all, I posted last month when I was seeking help, and am happy to share with you all some good results. I had an iron IV infusion last month, and my specialist initially thought my ferritin would still be low since my hemogloblin was a little low, but received word yesterday from my pcp that ferritin is O'K, and she was not concerned about hemoglobin, so something's working! Hi Cyndi - I'm so glad to hear that things are looking up for you. It's funny how each of us are so different. I don't take any iron supplements other than what's in my multivitamin, and my levels are fine. My family does have a history of high iron levels, though. Once again, I'm glad things are going better in the iron department!! Hugs, Nancy -110
