Is that protein bar the Revival one? I had the Autumn Frost Apple and that was INCREDIBLE!! So yummy it could be dangerous if you know what I mean! BTW - When I unloaded my big shopping bag after the convention, I couldn't believe how many protein bars and bags of soy chips and Nectar and Matrix I had....just couldn't believe it....hee-hee. N.

FYI chick peas (althought absolutely delish~) aren't a good source of protein (if you were trying to count that as your protein in the salad) 1 oz of canned chick peas has 1.4g protein, 6.4 carbs (1.2 of which is fiber) and .3g fat. BUT I LOVE THEM IN SALADS!!! Ileana 282/179.6/150

I think the salad breaks down quickly due to the wilting factor--I mean, we are putting it somewhere warm and wet--breaks it down pretty fast into nothing but mush. Oh, and chic peas are great--hubby makes his own hummus (nice dip for crackers or carots--it's like garlicy greek peanutbutter, only lower fat). Chic peas are a nice salad topper--makes your salad look fancy, too. Diana

I can't eat salads anymore The lettuce makes me nauseous for hours. When I DO order a salad, I only eat the meat, cheese, and the veggies. I can handle a couple bites of lettuce, like on a sandwich, but it is no longer a diet friendly food for me Pamela -102

mmmmm......salad. I've been eating more of them lately. I eat the protein portion of it first then go for the lettuce and veggies......Really fills me up!!! I have noticed too that I can eat more salad......scared me too...... That Dressing sounds yummy I will be on the lookout for it!!! Take care ~Cindy~ -133 352/219/140ish
