Summer Weight Loss Challenge
Hi Everyone!
I was so excited this past week to actually see the scale drop down to 139 but as we all know, that %@$# scale does not only go in the direction we wi**** to. .
My scale keeps bouncing between 140 and 141--today is 140 so no loss for me this week.
On the bright side, my Dad, whom I work with, asked what my current weight was. When I told him, he was quite surprised--he told me he thought I weighed around 110! OMG! If I look that small, I don't want to lose anymore! Anyhow, I felt pretty darn good after that comment yesterday even if it was just my Dad.

I don't think I joined in this challenge. Can't remember (gosh I hate getting old! ). I weighed in at 158 this morning - so only 9lbs from goal. Although, I think I could really stand to lose more and a goal of 135 would be good. I'll work on hitting 149, then go from there.

Thats so cool when that happens. I bet you felt so good after that. I started this challenge at 153 and am stil at 144 so still not to bad. I want to be atleast to 140 if not 135. My goal weight for me is 130 and my Dr is 126. I think I will stick with the 130 tho. Take care and keep up the great work everyone. Congrats on all your success!!! Luv Danelle

Everyone seems to be doing terrific with their summer challenge! I didn't join the challenge this time around, since I'm pretty much hit and miss with the few pounds I actually lose each month. I do know I'd like to see 240lbs by my one year anniversary. That would put me into the "severely obese" category, a step down from "morbidly obese." Well, a girl can dream, anyway

I forgot to post last week, so I don't know how much I've lost in the past two weeks. However, I am only three pounds from my summer challenge goal!
Challenge start weight 182
Weight now 170
Challenge goal weight 167
That gives me three weeks to lose three pounds. I think I can manage that!

I started off the challenge at 173, my goal is 158, and I'm at 166 today; so I'm down 7 and almost halfway there!
Mel, I can relate to your experience with your dad. Yesterday my friend asked how much more I wanted to lose, and I said I'd like to get down to 145, so essentially another 20 lbs. She was shocked and said I'd be a stick if I lost that much!!! I felt great, but somehow still have a hard time seeing myself as not fat (me - a stick???? ).
