Couple of non-weight triumphs
Have really been making an effort to increase my exercising the past few days to hopefully jumpstart the weight loss again. I know losing 119 lbs is wonderful, but I have another 120 to go.
Anyway, this morning I went to Diva's (our local women's gym) and was able to do 2 circuits and work on a machine that I had not been able to use before because my belly got in the way and my legs were not strong enough. I was jazzed and then my best friend's daughter came in and spoke to my daughter. I say hi, and she said, "Monna, is that you? I didn't even recognize you!" She made my day.
Today I have also been diligent about my water intake and had little room for food tonight at dinner. That was a good thing--yes, I did get my protein in.
Tonight I did 25 minutes on my Gazelle, up from 17:30 yesterday. I am feeling wonderful. Can't believe I am exercising and it is so much fun.

That's wonderful Monna!! I've been kind of lax in my excercise the last few days but will kick myself back into it soon. You're an inspiration to the rest of us to get going. And your right you do enjoy it more the more u do especially when you can see results. I'm looking foward to spring and warmer weather I just got a new bike and my daughter and I plan on going bike riding together !! ... take care Sue

Monna, you are doing FANTASTIC!! I'm so happy for you!!
I remember in the beginning months after surgery you couldn't do much in the way of exercise, but look at you now!!
Sending lots of wishes for continued success, and if you find the key to getting the weight loss to start again, be sure to let us all in on it!!!
Hugs,
Nancy
