Valentine's Day Challenge check-in

Well, I can tell you that the scale has NOT been my friend. For the most part, I've hovered around the 274/275 mark. At the gym, the scale had gotten as high as 278! I set my home scale to match the gym, and a few days ago, it had me down to 270...but now it's back to 274ish. I am definitely suffering from PMS and hope that all of that weight is water. What does this mean? It means that I consider my current weight to be 274 because that's the lowest "official" weight that I've had at the gym. I need to get to 263 before V-Day, so I still have 11 to go. I have to get myself back on track! I've been doing so horribly lately with food and exercise, and I'm suffering from all those pre-op feelings of failure. On a positve note, however, I've noticed that even though my weight hasn't changed, my jeans fit differently...too big in the legs...so at least the flab is rearranging itself. Okay--I'm only down a pound this week but I bought a size 8 pant this week so all is good in the world! 242/165/150 V-Day Goal Down -5 for this challenge

Down only 1 lb. this week, but it sure is better than nothing! Plus I did my measurements yesterday & since the last time I measured 5 weeks ago, I have lost a total of 20.75 inches! I didn't think that I had lost too many inches because I have only lost 11 lbs. since then. But boy was I wrong & I was glad to be wrong this time! 1-3-05 172 1-10-05 169 (3 lbs. lost, 12 to go) 1-17-05 168 (4 lbs. lost, 11 to go) We have 27 days left! Julie -80

Well I'm moving slowly......but I am moving. I started the challenge a week late, but I am trying for the 15!! So far I am only down 5 (but this is my week, if you know what I mean) so hopefully the scale will jump a little more in a few days. If....no I mean WHEN I get to the 15, that will put me at 90 pounds lost!! WOW! Can't believe it. Take care all happy losing! Michelle

I lost 2 more pounds this week for a total of 6. I started at 193 and today I am 187. I still have 9 more to go - don't know if that's gonna happen, but it's good to have a goal! Hugs, The Real Nancy (not the lady up there ) -90

I'm not positive about my weight this week. My nephew fooled with my scales and it hasn't been consistent since! I think I'm down another 2 pounds this week. Last Week: 229 This Week: 227 V-Day Goal: 216 Love You July Babies, Erika L

Well, since I don't know when the challenge started, I'll just give last week's weight. I was 206.5 and today I'm 201.5. I guess that's a five-pound loss which is good for me. If I subtract 15 from my 206.5, then my Valentine's day goal is 191.5. Hmmmm. I can make it! Congrats to everyone else on their losses! Stephany

I'm down 4lbs since we started, I have 11 to go. I doubt I'll make it cuz I've been losing about 6lbs a month, but those 4 lbs were in less then 2 weeks, so maybe I'll have a great month this month! I'm so excited I went clothes shopping today in the regular women's section and bought size 16 jeans and got home and tried them on and I think I'm going back to get some 14's! woo hoo!!! they look so good I'm so happy. Also wearing Large shirts, no more 3X! Its so nice to shop in the women's instead of plus size, the selection is so much bigger! Deejay 257/182/150 -75
