Hey gals... I keep reading that people are no longer obese, but now "overweight". Can anyone enlighten me on at what point(s) this takes place. Thanks, Carol 365/263/165

Thanks Carrie! I was way over a BMI of 50, so I guess that made me SUPER, SUPER obese ! And now I fall in the Morbidly obese catagory....and that's good, right..??? It sucks to be so short! Carol 365/263/165

Use the BMI calculator on this website (or previous poster's page). That will tell you your BMI. One day, I got really bored and figured out at which point I would reach each stage. I am 5'5", so my numbers may be a little different than yours depending on how tall you are. When I reach 240, I will only be "severely obese." At 210, I drop down to "obese" status. At 180, I will reach "overweight." 150 will bring me to a normal BMI at the high end, and at 135 I would be absolutely normal. So as it stands, I am still considered morbidly obese, despite having lost 77lbs. Oh well! Pamela 352/275/263 by V-Day
