Hi all I am usually only a lurker here but have decided to appear. I have so much on my mind and figure this is a good place to put it. Surgery was 7/28 for me and I am down a total of 105 pounds. But not happy. My weight loss has slowed down so dramatically and not sure what to do to kick it back up. I eat by my plan. No sweets I am to afraid of dumping...I never have but have never tested the water either. The 1st month I lost 38#, 2nd 21#, 3rd 17#, 4th 15# and the 5th which just ended 13.5#. As you see it is slower and slower each time. I am petified that I am "done". Is this typical with others here, since you guys are about the same time frame as me I know I can get my info related to this then at a general web site message board. I will admit I am not exercising as much as I could. But I do try. I am constantly in fear of not losing. My other big problem is I am still a bad drinker, still can not drink water and very little on the SF drinks just doesnt sit well. Mostly drnk milk with some 100% fruit juices. Occassionaly diet sprite but only a sip or too because of the carbonation. Also I am looking for breakfast ideas. I am NOT a morning person at all never will be so breakfast for me is usually in the car on the way to work. I am tired of eggs and yogurt, I don't like any Hot cereal type food. What is everyone eating out there? Maybe I will get a new idea. There are somedays I just grab some milk and go which is better then nothing but not that great either. I could go on and on forever especially on not losing lately but I will shh for now and see what comes back for ideas..THANKS so much Dawn 359/254/???

Dawn: I had surgery 7-19 and I've lost 101 pounds. Are you getting enough protein in? You definiately need to up your fluid intake. At any rate, our weight loss will slow down but hopefully stay consistant. Ask your doctor is your too concerned. I think your weight loss is awesome!!!!!!! Keep up the great work. Michelle

I usually have my protien drink for breakfast, or i'll grab some beef jerky. Sometimes I will have some deli turkey meat. ~Debra

Hi Dawn! For breakfast I usually have either Carb Countdown 2% chocolate milk with 1/2 scoop of Creamy Vanilla Isopure 0 carb protein powder, or Carb Countdown yogurt smoothie with Banana Pineapple Isopure. If I have 5oz of the liquid and 1/2 scoop of the protein, it starts me off with 20g of protein. You can also up the size of the shake to up the protein. Or how about a piece or two of string cheese - that's easy to take with you. My suggestions would be to watch the fruit juices - some are pretty high in carbs and sugar. If you can't drink water, what about iced tea or Fruit Refreshers lemonade? I mix one or the other with my water and it sits much better with me. Regular milk is also kind of high in carbs - try the Carb Countdown, I think it tastes great. I would also suggest committing to some form of exercise three or four times a week - I know it makes a difference! It sounds like you are doing very well. I think we are all slowing down a bit, but I doubt any of us will just stop losing. Try not to get yourself too frantic - you have lots of support here!!! Hugs, Nancy -84
