Bragging Rights
It has been a while since we have bragged on ourselves. I think we have all earned our bragging rights. Wether it is for the slow loosers like myself or the faster loosers. I would like to know what you started out at and your last current weight. Everyone just remember everyone looses at different rates! A small loss is better than no loss.

I had my Laparscopic RNY on July 14th
I weighed 270 lbs the morning of surgery.
This morning I weighed 189
thats a total loss of 81lbs for me.
THe weight loss has definately slowed down. The first three months I was loosing 20lbs a months now its more like 10lbs a months, but hey thats still good.
I am able to eat a little more than I did back then too. I still have some foods that really dont sit well in my pouch so I just stay away from those.
mostly its carbs, breads pastas, rices that hurt going down, so those are good to stay away from anyways.
I'm so happy. It feels great to be healthy, and it also feels great to be wearing a size 10 jeans and a size med top.
My mom is 5'2 and has always weighed like 140. Well i can fit in alot of her clothes now...
Its just awesome. I will brag to anyone that wants to hear!!! lol

I still have trouble putting a 1 instead of 2 as the first digit when I type my weight. Last week was my first stall. In the end, I had lost only 1/2 of a pound. Since surgery, I have lost an average of 4 pounds with no less than 2 in any one week. That really messes with your mind. But, I noticed that when I am going into the next group of numbers (like 190s to 180s) I have a low loss week. So, I wasn't surprised. Just annoyed. But, this morning I woke up and kissed my scale.
My goal is 150. But, I have decided that I want to go on down to 140 since there is usually a dip and then a few pounds gained to get to the weight that a person will stay. This losing is kind of adictive. I had a friend tell me that she had trouble stopping because in her mind, smaller was always better and after months of losing, it was hard to not want to lose even though she was way too thin when she finally got it under control. I didn't understand 6 months ago, but I sure do now. Have any of you lowered your goal since your surgery?
Everyone is doing so well. I was wondering yesterday who would be the first person that would get to state GOAL on the subject line. So many of you are getting close.
