Throat Pain :help:

I am five months post op. When I eat most foods I get a pain in my throat-right in the dip at the bottom on my neck. To me it's a warning sign that if I eat anymore I will throw up. The bad part is that this happens with foods I'm suppose to eat. Does anyone else have this problem? I'm not concerned enough to contact the Dr. because it doesn't happen with all foods. I'd be in trouble if I didn't like the protein shakes. Any ideas?

Linda, are you chewing and chewing and chewing your food? What kind of foods does it happen with? I find I get it with denser foods like chicken and fish. If it continues, I'd definitely give the doc a call.... Hugs, Nancy -79

This happens to me if the food is not moist enough. I also have that problem with pills that are the size of an asprin. Chew Chew and moisten it up alittle. See if that helps. 's Carrie
