FOOD and EXERCISE 11/18

NOT a good day for me. I had a headache all day, which pretty much knocked out my plans for exercise. I don't function well when my head hurts. Then, for some reason, I was hungry ALL DAY. And not just hungry...I mean HUNGRY. Like so hungry I could throw up, even after eating lunch and having a snack. I finally ate a PBJ sandwich...and then threw up. It wasn't until I was watching CSI that my stomach finally stopped being hungry. B~1oz ham, 1oz string cheese L~1/4 c tuna on 1 slice low-carb wheat, 1/4 c ravioli lasagna S~string cheese D~1/2 c chicken with peppers and onions S~1tbs peanut butter, 1tbs jelly, 2 slices white bread (I can't eat PBJ on wheat...ick!) Once my stomach settled, I had some low-carb ice cream. Calories: 1075 Protein: 97 Exercise: None I wonder if not having any carbs yesterday and the first part of today is what made my stomach so screwy. I don't know, but I have never experienced anything like it. Pamela -60

Pamela, I find that the more carbs I have, the more I crave them. Just like with sugar - the ultimate carb! I had a tough time breaking my carb habit, and I dont' know if it's broken yet - I still miss my bread and potato chips! B: Carb countdown smoothie with protein powder L: 1 oz. turkey breast S: 1/8 cup of Carb Countdown yogurt; 1 scoop Unjury in lemonade D: 1/2 of a Trader Joes Flounder w/crab stuffing S: TJ soy crisps with cream cheese Got in 64 oz water . Totals: 597 calories, 23 carbs, 89 protein ************************************ Exercise: walked 1.8 miles in the evening Hugs, Nancy -72
