What am I missing?
I use US Bariatric's Building Blocks Vitamins. Have used Vistas, too. Both are great. Spendy, but I figure I had a major, life altering surgery so I believe I need to take care of it and hey, I save enough in food to pay for my vites! They wind up being like $0.50 a day so that's less than the cokes I used to buy every day! These are specially formulated for bariatric patients. (The 6 calciums are elemental calcium citrate and total 1000 mg).
Morning: 1 multi (doesn't have iron in it), 3 calcium, 1 Coenzyme Q-10
Noon: 1 multi, 1 iron, 1 CoQ-10
Evening: 1 multi, 3 calcium, 1 Coenzyme Q-10
This is what I take:
In the am: 2 complete childrens chewable vitamins & 1 Ursodiol (it's for my gallbladder so I don't get stones during the rapid weight loss phase)
In the pm: 1 Ursodiol
Then throughout the day I have 2-4 Caramel Viactiv's to snack on.
I don't do B12 or Iron supplements. My docotor said as long as I'm feeling good, not tired or drained, and my levels check out on all my bloodwork I'm fine. They do full panels on me every few weeks during the rapid weight loss phase so they can catch it if I do start to fall deficient in some area.

AM: 1 Flintstones chewable, 1 Calcium Citrate, 1 Protonix (acid reducer), 1 Actigall (to prevent gallstones). Sublingual B-12 every other day.
PM: 1 Flintstones chewable, 1 Calcium Citrate.
I don't take iron very often because it really constipates me and I have had a hysterectomy, so it isn't as necessary.

I take US Bariatrics Building Blocks,
AM : 2 multi vit chewable, which equals 3 capsules
lunch: 1 iron (make sme really constipated, so I sometimes do not take it)
Snack: 6 calcium capsules (open and mixed with FF vanilla Jell-o)
I think I should be taking b-12 as well, I may buy some of that!
Also, I hear we should be buying the vitamines that are made specifically for bariatrics patients because of our lower absortion rates. I hear that most of the Flintstones vit. are not absorbed by our bodies...
