Hi Bobby Here are my stat's... Pre-Surgery Weight: 223 Surgery Type: lap. distal rny Complications: Unfortunately, many! Leak found 3 days post op., Collapsed lung (filled with fluid) 21 days post op. Total days in hospital: 21. I'm fine now though. Weight loss: 53 lbs Leslie

Beginning 358 Lap RNY No complications 36lbs- as of last week. I think its more this week- My highest weight was 367 which was a month before the surgery so I guess all totalled its 46 - not too hard to take. I've lost lots and lots of inches and I am down 3 sizes in clothes. Hang in there- I know its a loong haul but we didn't get here overnight either. Guys are luckier too...they lose faster. Keep up the good work, and stay healthy everyone

I will be 3 months out on October 19. My beginning weight was 277. I had an Open RNY Complications: I had a stricture and an ulcer. The stricture had healed over so well that two different gastro guys and two different endoscopies couldn't even find where the opening should be. Luckily (?) I had a small opening in my staple line and so my food is emptying into my old stomach. Technically I guess no intestines are bypassed. I am still struggling with eating and am just now starting to be able to eat small pieces of chicken and tuna. I barf a lot , but I feel pretty healthy. I have lost 57 lbs. Wow, Bobby, youre doing wonderfully. My beginning weight was 253 I had open RNY. No complications other than muscle spasms right after surgery. Ive lost 65lbs. Thank you for asking Bobby. Jessica 253/185
