I live with this daily, but for me it has nothing to do with surgery. I have benign positional vertigo. It can be debilitating...when it sets of full force, I'm off my feet for at least 10 days
Lack of nutrients or water can cause dizziness though...you should ask your dr.

Yikes! I am sorry about your vertigo...not good at all. Hopefully some new drug will come along that will enable you to avoid the 10 day lay-ups. I am planning on calling the doctor Monday to find out what the heck I can do to stop this because I am positive that I am getting enough whater and nutrients in, perhaps not though. Thanks for responding.

I have had this since a few weeks after surgery. I called the doc and found it is related to my low blood pressure. I've always had fairly low pressure, but the no-carb diet and weight loss has lowered it even further. My dizziness only occurs when I move quickly, like turning over in bed or standing up. His solution? Don't move so quickly. Thanks a lot!
