Take With Food - Medicine

Hi Everyone, How do you take your medicine that says take with food? If we can't eat and drink, what are you doing. i am taking citrical and actigall and they both say take with food, so I usually take them with milk. ShaunTEah

Hi Lady Teah, I usually drink just enough liquid to get the meds down,then eat my food. I usually crush mine because they feel stuck otherwise,then take a sip of water to get it down.I don't think I drink enough to qualify as drinking with my meals. I hope this helps some. Have a good day! Denise

I eat first, then about 15 minutes later I take my vitamin (requires food)with a small bit of liquid. Taking the vitamin last seems to keep me fuller longer.

Hi, I take my meds mixed in with a teaspoon of yogurt or applesauce, then eat. Keeps the pills from getting stuck which has been a problem for me. CJ

The Actigall is so big it got stuck a few times, so I put it in the last little bit of my Carb Countdown yogurt smoothie and hold my nose!! Hugs, Nancy -50

I take mine with milk. My doctor said that was fine.
