Hi All!! Let me introduce myself

Hi Everybody, I just wanted to say Hi to everybody on this board,and introduce myself. My name is Denise Johnson.I had my surgery on July 12,2004. My weight when I started the process was 278.I lost 8lbs before surgery,so the morning of surgery I was 270.I am now 221.That is 57lbs. gone from my life FOR GOOD!!! I still have a very bad habit of comparing myself to others,and thinking I'm just not doing good enough,but I can't get in the mindset of "Hey! You are ONLY 2 months out!!!!" Would I have lost this before surgery?? HE** NO!! Well, there you have it. I will put a picture to my profile if I can find one I haven't destroyed yet.Yes another bad habit.

Maybe my husband has one hidden from me. I would like to cyber-meet you all!!

Hi Denise!

I started out at 277, and I'm down to 231 - 46 lbs. gone forever!! I try not to compare, but I think it's natural to try and guage where we're at compared to others that had their surgery the same time as us. Hope things continue to go so well for you! Hugs, Nancy -46
