Tuesdays Menu with a protein challenge!

Hi everyone...once again I won't get home till after midnight...but I will be peeking even if I can't post from work. Todays protein challenge....50 GRAMS FROM ALL OF US! We can do it.. and to start us of I've had 23 grams so far from a protein shake, much better then yesterday! Now, I need to go pack my dinner with the goal of getting in 27 more grtams of protein. I've already hit 50 with a 40 gram isopure protien drink for breakfast, some beef jerky for snack, and some chili for lunch. I'm well over 50. ~Debra

I have had 74 gms of protein today! B-1/2 cc smoothie 6g S-protein drink 29 L-Chicken salad-14 S-Protein bar 12g Dinner-2oz cheese melted on 1 slice of rye bread 14 g --------------------total 74..dont add it....FitDay did if for me..I estimated just now! Joanie

1 c ff/sf Yoplait Yogurt- 100 cal 5 protein 1/2 banana 50 cal Advantage Protein bar 220 19 protein Advantage Protein Bar 220 19 protein low carb lavash bread 100 4 protein 1/2 c low fat shredded cheese 100 8 2 oz chicken 100 14 It looks better than it is from a protein standpoint, but I could only eat half of the chicken on lavash bread so I only got in half the protein My dr wants my calories and protein up- and I am so full- I don't know what to do.... Oh well... each day is an adventure. Better luck tomorrow!!

Hi Marcy...looks like about 44 grams protein..not too bad! I know what you mean..I eat a couple of ozs and I'm full. But as you say...each day is an adventure! CJ

CJ - Thanks for the challenge...But darn sure is not going to happen to me...I am lucky if I make 40 grams... For today I have had 30 grams of protein - of which 18 of those came from GNC concentrated protein syrup....And 450 calories.... And there is NO way I can fit anything else without ing....I am struggling to finish up 40 ounces of water.... Oh well...the pouch will stretch sometime.... Anne

Don't tell anyone Anne, but I have the same problem! So I figure if I make the challenge I have to work harder! I'm having a hard time getting in the protein AND the fluids. If I succeed at one, I blow the other. CJ

I MADE IT!! I had 3.5 ozs of fish spread over a meal and a snack for 17 gms and a protein bar for 15 and some turkey pepperoni for 4.......59 grams for the day!!! CJ
