I had a pretty good day yesterday. I'm really never hungry and feel like I'm always forcing food, and at the end of the day I'm really cramming it in to get my protein and calories up. I found that when I was only getting in 300 calories and 40 protein a day my weight stalled. If I can get at least 500 calories and 50 g of protein in, I lose about a pound every other day (yes, I weigh every day...it's my new fun thing to do now that mindless eating is no longer an option!! ) Breakfast: Carb Countdown yogurt smoothie with 1/2 scoop of Isopure 0 carb protein powder: 92.5 cal, 1.5 carb, 17.5 protein Snack: Brie Cheese on 3 Town House crackers: 115 cal, 2 carb, 4 protein Lunch: 3.5 T 1% Cottage cheese with 1t FF salad dressing and 1 med slice of tomato diced: 49 cal, 3 carb, 7 protein Snack: .5 oz FF Pringles ( ) 35 cal, 8 carb, 1 protein and Carb Countdown yogurt smoothie with 1/2 scoop of Isopure 0 carb protein powder: 92.5 cal, 1.5 carb, 17.5 protein Dinner: Lean Cuisine Chicken Marsala (only ate half the meat) and added 12 salad size shrimp: 97 cal, 3 carb, 13 protein Snack: 1/4 Atkins Smores Bar: 55 cal, 1 carb, 4 protein Totals: 536 calories, 27 carbs, 65 protein I also got in about 44 oz of fluids which is great for me and walked 4 miles (broken into morning and evening walks). Good morning all! I got too much fat yesterday...it's the twist cheese and I don't even really like it--oh, the things we feed our kids... B: Atkins Banana Nut Harvest Cereal .5C (75cal/2fat/8carb/9prot) Carb Countdown Milk .25C (25cal/1fat/1carb/3prot) S: 2 slices extra lean cooked ham (73cal/3fat/1carb/11prot) 2 Polly-O twist cheese (120cal/8fat/0carb/12prot) 1packet mustard (3cal/0fat/0carb/0prot) L: 90% of a Snickers Marathon Bar-low carb! (153cal/6fat/17carb[11net]/13 prot) D: .125C cooked ground beef (44cal/3fat/0carb/4prot) .125C refried beans (61cal/3fat/7carb/2prot) 1/4 slice tomato (1cal/0fat/0carb/0prot) S: 2C FF Carb Countdown milk (140cal/0fat/6carb/24prot) For a grand total of 695 cal, 26 fat, 40 carb, 77 protein. I need to really watch the fat. Not worried about the carbs because they were mostly fiber (and man, do I need the fiber! Ugh.) I felt like I was eating all day but I still only got in 695 calories... Happy Tuesday all! MM

This looks really good! I'm not sure how ou could have reduced the fat..everything you ate was low in fat..and you do need some fat to help the fiber work! CJ

Interesting...I had no idea about the fat/fiber connection! My surgeon told me to stay at 20g or below on fat...I was doing between 25-35 every day so I'm trying to stay aware but like you said, sometimes it's just in everything, especially protein! I've been doing a lot of shrimp and seafoods but my BF wanted mexican and I pick out the guts of his burrito so I had his ground beef...you know... Thanks for the info, though! MM

I had : B: egg flower soup with shirmp (wierd breakfast but it was sooooo good) L: 1/4 hamburger patty with 1/2c potato leek soup D: 1 bite pork roast (which I promptly threw up ) then 4 bites butternut squash and 2 bites of red potato S: sugarfree popcicle Had about 85oz fluids whi*****luded a suger free slurpee(yum) ~Cindy~ 352/301/140ish

Wow Cindy, you are doing so great on fluids! I don't think I've ever had a day where I got over 60. That pork really blew your protein for day! CJ
