I just stumbled in....

Hi Patty Welcome to our board. I dont post much due to my schedule, but I read and check in frequently. I had surgery July 19, I've lost 36 pounds!! I'm very pleased!!!! I had Lap RNY though, so I have no clue what a g tube is. LOL Take care Michelle

I had an open rny and didn't have any g-tube either. I am assuming that is a drainage tube? I think my sister had one of those from her surgery. I had my surgery on July 21 and am down 30.5 lbs. I am on normal foods and most everything goes down ok. Heavy foods are tough, especially in the morning, so I just am careful about breakfast and the rest of the day my pouch seems to be happy. It's great to be on the losing side! Barb
