How much weight have you lost?
Hi, congrats on the weight loss. I''m hoping to get there soon. Today is 1 month post op for me and I've lost 28lbs. I was getting a little discouraged because I've seen others who had surg. in July and they have already lost 40 or 50lbs. I keep hearing that everyone is different so your body will lose when it's ready. Don't forget to drink lots of water. Good luck on your journey.

I have lost 31 and feel like I am lagging behind. But I hear that sometimes those that have more to lose, lose at a faster rate. But I figure I am 24% towards my goal and sooner or later I will get there. In my opinion, it has to come off when you can only eat 2 - 4 oz of food at a time.
Keep up the good work and remember that we will all ge there!
I just went for a 5 week check up and was told everything looks good I should be happy with my weight lose which is 51 pounds but I am not. I was told to go back to eating soft foods and to go see a psychologist the faster you lose the weight the more your body changes and the more emotional you get. I cry for everything and today I realized that I am crying because I do have some problems that really do bother me but before the WLS if I felt this way I would eat food was my best friend and I lost my best friend so please be happy with the way you are losing your lose is normal as long asyou are losing and you are doing what you are suppose to than don't worry everyone is different and you don't want to be in my situation I wish you the best and keep up the good work.
