Okay! I just discovered some food that I thought you might want to try -
I am almost 4 weeks POST OP too!
***** Breakfast Burrito (Minus the Tortilla)
1 egg (scrambled -- soft)
2 bacon (take off the white (fat) before cooking)
1 Small Yukon Potato (put in microwave to cook and soften, then take off the skin)
Sprinkle cheese shredded
little Light sour cream and Guacamole
I brown the bacon (rinse out the pan -- grease BAD! and then wipe the bacon down with paper towels and chop tiny)
Put in the cooked potato to brown
Take out the potato and cook the egg lightly-- add the bacon and potato---- then top with a little shredded cheese and some Light sour cream and guacamole!
THIS IS SOOOOOOOOO YUMMY! I make sure to get as much of the bacon grease off to limit the fat and it is WONDERFUL!
*** Light Dryers Ice Cream (Cookies and Cream) It is sooo yummy and has skim milk and low fat and sugar! IT TASTES LIKE REAL FATTY ICE CREAM! I eat like 5 spoonfuls and it does it for me! IT IS WONDERFUL!
***** Matzo Lightly Salted Crackers (JEWISH/KOSHER SECTION) -- These are wonderful tasting and have little carbs compared to crackers. They are easy to disolve and taste wonderful! I LOVE UM!
Well, I just wanted to share! I think it is great to share ideas of what we eat and have modified! I know everyone is different but these really seem to be working for me and I was excited to share! If you have any please share back or let me know how u like these!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Alice, that burrito sounds yummy, but I can hardly get in more than 3 tablespoons at this point!! I get full so fast!
I haven't had any crackers or anything crunchy yet, although I am dying for something. I bought FF Pringles today, but haven't gotten the nerve to try them yet!!
Thanks for the tips - you know I'll be trying them soon!
Hugs,

Hehehe Nancy..I have Pringles everyday! Be careful though with anything fat free, fat free usually means more sugar which is much worse than fat itself. Remember, fat tastes good, so when they remove it from a food, they need to replace it with something else yummy...hence more sugar...
