1 week post-op, feeling pretty good

Well, I made it to the other side. I had surgery Monday and was discharged on Wednesday. I'm still on clear liquids which will hopefully change when I see my surgeon for a follow-up today. I get to head home today. Doc had me stay in town for a week to make sure all was okay. I am so ready to be at home again! My pain is pretty well limited to my lower belly. I have some burning going on, but no drain. I will be asking my doc today if all is well. Hugz, Gina

Congrats on your successful surgery! My wls was on Tuesday, so I'm right there with ya! My pain is in my upper tummy - the stomache muscles. I'll be going to the doc soon, too. Keep us posted! Joyce
