soon to surgery, nervous

My surgery date is July 27, 2004. I am nervous, but I know that I am doing the right thing. Besides being overwight, I also have Multiple Sclerosis, has any one else had this surgery, with the combined problems?

Terri, I had surgery 8 days ago, and I know how it's easy to be nervous before hand. Just stay positive, and keep imagining life after you've received the tool! You have a lot of people thinking of you and praying for you, so relax and try to go into surgery as prepared as possible. We'll all be pulling for you! Keep smiling and keep the faith!

My surgery is scheduled for August 23rd, I too am nervous. The more time I have to think about it the more nervous I get. But I`m not getting any skinnier. I can`t wait to live my new life, and to be healthier. I wish you all the best on your journey and lets keep in touch. God Bless You. Laurie
