Questions for spouses

Is is true that they wont let the spouse stay int he room with the WLS patient? I live too far away to travel home and when my husband has been hospitalized before I stayed - how do I deal with this issue? Taryn K

im not sure who each hospital works but mine noone can stay overnight unless i have a provate room which has to be requested....i would contact the hospital and question this...Good luck

They offered to let my husband stay over. The first night I really didn't need him. The second night I wanted him to stay, but he didn't -- too tired. I did have a private room -- they all are at that hospital. You need to check with the hospital. Karen
