Low Iron?

Sometimes in the past, when trying to give blood, I haven't been able to 'cause they said I was anemic. Lately, I don't think it's been a problem...I did the first bloodwork in April 2004, and they said everything was okay. Still, I worry. What if when I go on July 14 for my bloodwork at Cedars, it comes back low iron? Will I still be allowed to have surgery? Any thoughts on what I can do now beforehand?

Hi I've had the same problem in the past and when my iron would get low I would take an iron pill or vitamin with iron. If you'd do that now maybe it would'nt be a problem. Just an idea... Good luck to you, Vicki
