July 1st! Anyone else?

I just got approved on June 11th after fighting insurance companies for the last few years. Now that I'm approved and with surgery only 2 1/2 weeks away now I'm getting a little nervous with it being so close. I have alot of things to get in order in such a short time. Wendy, I, too have a date of July 1st. I can't believe only 2 weeks to go. I guess I always had a feeling this day would never come, but boy when the dr. gave me a date it certainly was for real then. I all of a sudden became nervous, scared, excited, everything. I have calmed down some now and just believe what ever happens was meant to be in some way. Good luck on July 1st, we will have to compare notes. Lisa

My surgery is July 11th also! I was approved June 7th and got my surgery yesturday. Wow things are moving fast. Staci

Hi Wendy! My surgery is also July 1st and I have been feeling every emotion possible. Plus, I had to give up food on Thursday and go on a special diet so these past few days have been hard but they have given me a lot of rerflection time on why I need this and also how my whole life will change. Hey Wendy, I am also scheduled for open gastric bypass on July 1, wow, It has taken me almost a year to get to this point, well I had to wait to see the dr for 9 months, but after that everything got moving pretty fast, I am excited to be on the losing side, Prayers & Love Rachel
