Pre-Op Questions

Surgery scheduled 7/19/04, what are some of different pre-ops doctors require, would like to hear from anyone???

Hi Nancy, I am scheduled for 7/7/04. My doctor and insurance required a psych test, gall bladder scan, chest xray, ekg, pulmonary function test and a wide array of blood work. Also, I tested positive for the h pylori germ in my stomach so had to be scoped and biopsied to make sure that the treatment had taken care of it. Luckily all of the testing came out fine. Good luck.
