MY SURGERY IS JULY 9. LOTS TO DO AND PLANS TO MAKE. WENT TO MIAMI YESTERDAY TO CHECK OUT MT. SINAI HEART INSTITUTE WHERE I WILL HAVE THE PROCEDURE. DR. MAREMA HAS HIS OFFICES THERE AND A WHOLE FLOOR OF BARIATRIC POST-OPS. PRIVATE ROOMS WITH WATERFRONT VIEWS, COULD I ASK FOR MORE.? I AM SET WITH THAT, AND NOW HAVE TO FIND A PLACE TO STAY POST OP BECAUSE ALL OUT OF TOWNERS HAVE TO STAY 10 DAYS AFTER SURGERY. I'LL KEEP YOU POSTED. margaret

Congrats on getting your date, Margaret! WOW!The Heart Institute sounds very nice!!! I am praying for a private room, but from what I have seen and heard about the hospital I'm going to, it's pretty old and dumpy. Oh well, I'm not there for the amenities, I'm there for the surgeon, right?!? I, too, am travelling out of town for my surgery. I'll be staying with my sister post-op, so I'm good to go as far as that goes. I hope you have found somewhere to stay. Keep us posted! Jill
