OK it's Friday - where is everyone????? Tomorrow - 7/19 - is my 4 year surgery anniversary. I can't believe it!! What a wonderful gift I was given. Sure, I have to work at it now, but that's OK - I was given a great jump start and now I just need to maintain. How fortunate I am to have been given back my life!! There have been so many changes in these past four years: I have grown in confidence and in health and I feel like I really have a life now. When I want to drown my sorrows in a big bowl of ice cream, I really try to think of where I was prior to my surgery....sick and tired and miserable. I NEVER want to go back there and if I do this one day at a time, I never will have to go back. Love to all of my July surgery friends!!! Nancy
