Something good for dinner
Here is a quick recipe (and it tastes delicious, by the way) that you can cook for dinner:
2 small boxes frozen broccoli spears
1 cup of heavy cream (you can find it by the milk)
1 egg
8 oz. of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 cups of cooked chicken chunks (I use the kind that is already cooked that you can find in the fresh meat section by Oscar Meyer)
Cook broccoli until slightly tender. While broccoli is cooking, mix heavy cream with 1 egg and add salt and pepper in milk mixture. When broccoli is done, take a casserole dish and put broccoli spears on botton, chicken chunks next, and then pour milk mixture on top of broccoli & chicken. Put the whole 8 oz bag of cheese on top. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. It makes 6-8 servings. It is really delicious and my family loves it too!! This is a really low carb dish that the whole family will love. Not only is it easy, it is very inexpensive too.
