Hello... Way to go Nancy....we can do this.!!!!! there is a big difference between 170 and 169....a funny little difference .......and Pamela...my neice that the same condition and after 12 months had a perfectly healthy baby boy. You will be fine. Try and relax and think of Chirstmas ......maybe you will have news by then...if not, that is fine...start to think of Easter. IT WILL HAPPEN.....easy for us to say but it seems like things going to start happening for you..... Hope everyne has a great day. Carbs are the issue with me. I have stayed clear of carbs for a week now and the pounds are coming off. I saw 157 today and I have not seen that number in years. I need to stay away from those nasty carbs at least until I get to my 149 goal. They are the death of me. My pouch has even gotten smaller too....when I went back to liquids and soft foods ...then salads and fruit and protein shakes I find that I can't consume as much. I know some of you have mentioned coffee...It is my treat....I have one in the morning and it is great at filling me up perking me up...the protein shakes are great too but I don't get that instant pick me up....I love my Time Hortons coffee ( a big Canandian coffee chain.....) better than Country Style or Coffee Time. hahahahahah Hugs Karen 299 - 157 - 149

Wow, Karen - 157!! Hooray for you!! Carbs are tough for me too - I get bored with protein only - I look for crunch. I tried pork rinds but just can't bring myself to eat them - they seem SOOOO unhealthy - so high in fat...ugh. So anyway, if anyone has any idea of a high protein snack that crunches (no nuts; again full of fat and they make my intestines very unhappy!) please let me know. I did find Vlasic sweet gherkins - no sugar added - sweetened with Splenda - they're good, but salty. Sometimes I soak them for a few minutes to get some of the salt out - otherwise it's 5 calories, 1 carb for three. I look forward to my morning cup of coffee too! I'm glad that even after 2+ years we are still committed to getting to goal. If I hadn't had the surgery I probably would have given up trying to get myself healthy.... Hugs, Nancy

Good morning, Julie babies!! This weekend is my daughter's birthday.... It's been rather busy... Sleepovers with screaming 13 year olds... I need my head examined... I haven't been concentrating too much on a plan... just staying away from carbs... holding steady at the same weight.... The pool reopens on Tuesday, so I think I'll be back in the swing of things next week... Hey Karen and Nancy.... "weigh" to go on your journey down the scale. Pamela... it will happen... Hugs to all!! Denise

Thanks, Karen. I REALLY need to hear good stories about this adenomyosis. My mom is under the impression that the uterus specialist who did the surgery would have told me not to waste my time or money if he thought there was very little chance for me. Instead, he said everything looked perfect and to move forward. I hope she's right! Now that I've had 3 days of lousy eating, it's hard to get back on track. I don't go back to wor****il Tuesday, and that makes it even harder! Plus, I'm so full of water from the IV that I'm puffy EVERYWHERE. At any rate, I've got to get my mind back into the ballgame because I don't want to be 217 forever. It's funny, though, because a year ago, I would have been ecstatic to be 217. Isn't it funny how we're never happy when we get what we want? Have a great day! I plan to, it's BEAUTIFUL outside! Pamela
