Hi , I had my WLS on July 28 and feel great right now. But for about the firsttwo weeks it was really uncomfortable pain wise and I kept using that inhaling thing with the ball in it to prevent getting fluid in the lungs. Did they have you use one in the hospital, and to take home? I lost 16 lbs so far and can finally sit at the computer without any pain. Good luck--- Angie

Hi Rebecca, yes I feel nausea all the time. My surgery was 7/15/2003. I had a repeat Upper GI on 8/13, no leaks but swollen intestines, maybe you want to check with your Dr. about it. Mine called me persoanlly when he got the results. We will wait until week 6 go in for check up and probably Dr. thinks we will do an Upper Endoscopy if the nausea has not stopped. I am currently on Compazine for it, helps but does not fully alleviate the nausea/queasiness.

Hi! I had my surgery on July 14th. I am not experiencing what you are, but strongly suggest you talk to your doctor as soon as possible. When you say you eat meat and you dump, I just wanted to tell you that you dump from eating too much sugar. The dumping occurs when your body "dumps" alot of insulin into your body because you've eaten too much sugar. It might have too soon for you to eat the meat. Don't get frustrated...talk to your doctor as much as you can because he/she will help you! Hang in there.
