Topic: link for weight lose, calorie, & exersize guide
http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/weightloss.phtml I found this weight lose planner last night. You file in the blanks and it will tell you approxamently how much you will lose a week and when you would reach goal. It tells you how many calories you need to subtract from what you are burning in order to lose the weight daily. It also gives you an idea of how many calories is used when you are exercising. Of coarse, nothing is perfect and all of our bodies are different and have different needs. We have to know our own body. If one thing (example: certain # of calories)doesn't work for you then try something different until you get the results you want.

Hi Stacey, Try using this calculature link below. It is pretty kool! It gives you an idea of how long it would take you to reach goal and how many calories you need a day, and how many calories you burn with the excerzise. Everyone is different and their bodies needs are different. My brother has lost 100 pounds without surgery and was ready to give up the diet because he had been on a short platau. His wife got him to eat what he felt like he needed. Then he lost a few more pounds. He was so proud! You have lost alot of weight already and I hope you are giving yourself credit for that. I have read that some poeple up their protien when on a platau. Your body is trying to conserve because it thinks it is losing too much. When you up the protein it fools it into thinking it is in "hunting mode" , and starts burning the calories again. How many times a day are you eating? You may need to add a 200 calorie meal to your schedule. I know it is hard. I am only eating twice a day and know later on it isn't going to help me. You have to listen to your body. Chances are that if you are hungry, your body needs more calories. Good luck Stacie ... you are doing great! http://www.obesityhelp.com/morbidobesity/weightloss.phtml

Topic: How many calories are you eating?
I had my surgery July 1st and am down 83 pounds. I am happy about my loss, but am worried because it is soooo slow going lately. I am always hungry. I eat about 800-900 calories a day. I wondered how many the rest of you who had surgery in July are eating. Am I eating too much or should I increase it a little? I get in at least 80 grams of protein a day, drink 60-100 oz of water and really , really watch every bite I put into my mouth. I track everything on Fitday.com. I am exercising 3-5 x a week at the gym. WHat else can I do?

Topic: RE: 94 lbs down since July 8th, 2003 - Milk question
Oh my goodness I am so jealous of you I am July 3rd and I am down only 70lbs. I am the same way about milk. I love milk but my doctor did not advise for or against either way. I dont seem to get as much support or information for my doctor or staff as so many of you do. I cant stomach the taste of skim milk so I drink a glass of 2% milk with my protein shake every morning and it seems to do very well. Good look and CONGRATS...
