Topic: RE: Only 4 lbs lost since April
You didn't say how much you started out at, or what your weight is now. Don't forget, you lose weight the first 15 months after surgery, the last 20 being the hardest, and the last 35-40 being the slowest. Also, the more you work out, the more muscles you build, the more weight you gain, but the trimmer you get. (Muscle does weigh more then fat...) ~Cyndi

Topic: Only 4 lbs lost since April
I am coming up on my one year anniversary next week. I have been stuck at the same weight basically since April. I am so worried that my loss has stopped. I have another 35-45 lbs to go. I have upped my exercise to no avail. I get at least 80g of protein a day. Am I going to lose any more weight???

Topic: I am finally the person I always wanted to be
Ever since I was a little girl, I always knew that I wasn't suppose to be heavy. Going from doctor to doctor and being told the same thing all the time I was always discouraged. But when I met doctor Garber at the age of 22 yrs I knew my life would never be the same..July 1, 2003 I had Gastric by-pass surgery. I lost 115lbs and I feel terrific. June 9, 2004 I had my extra skin removed and I am in a size 3 which I thought would never be possible. I am so happy and wish the best of luck to anyone who decides to have this procedure done. It was the best choice I made in my whole life, and would not change it if i had too.

How exciting Bart! I'm waiting to get under 300...but as of this morning, am no longer SUPER morbidly obese! You will be able to get out and about and explore that beautiful area you live in. If things go OK with the installation of a new software system at work, I hope to be in southern Utah in September. I know I'm looking forward to do a few walks this time.

Normal for me hasn't been anything. I have been at about the same weight for the past two months. I will keep trying though.
