Hi everyone...just wanted to let you know that I will be having my surgery on July 2nd at Auburn Memorial Hospital. Dr. Oh will be performing the surgery. Please wish me luck and send prayers....thanks so very much. Blessing to all. Kathy

I wish you all the best on your wls. i will also be having surgery on July 3rd. I am just as excited as you are. mine was to be June 11th but was rescheduled for July 3rd, your right i was not happy at all, so now i am back to counting the days once again. I'm also having a RNY on July 11th (at Albany Medical Center), and I'm as excited as you are. It's nice to know others will be going through the same thing on the same day! I pray you have an uneventful surgery and speedy recovery!

Hi Linda, I share your date too, I'm a 54 yr old married mom of two grown great kids, I want to enjoy our retirement with about half of me gone (i weigh 300 now) My Dr say we have to lose 10% of what we want to lose before surg, it makes the surg easier as your liver shrinks a bit in the dieting mode. That means 15# for me, I've lost 10 5 more to go B/4 July 8th, I CAN DO IT!! I will have you in my thoughts and prayers that day too, as many of us from all over the USA change our lives for the better, God Bless, Jane Krisak
