I am scheduled for July 7th surgery, and I am so happy. I have been waiting for this day for a long time, but time seems so slow. I am having Lap RNY, by Dr. Naaman in Houston, Texas. This is the most exciting time of my life. After being denied 2 times and filing appeal after appeal I finally got approved, and this is going to be the best change I could ever make. Congratulations to all that are having surgery on July 7th.

My Surgery is schedueled for July 7, 2003. After waiting 2 yrs. and a half I am so excited. I t just seems like the day will never get here. My boyfriend is worried, and he asked a physic, if I would come out of this ok, and she said she saw one problem. Problem or not I want this so bad, one problem is worth having, instead of being unhealthy and sick the rest of your life.

Elizabeth: I also will be having surgery on 7/28. I consider it a lucky day because, 5 years ago this 7/28 I had an out patient fertility surgery that led to the conception/birth of my four year old son. I will be having my Open RNY at 9am on July 1st. I'm so excited! Once in a while I'll get nervous, but then I just go back to thinking how great it will be to be HEALTHY. I wish all other patients on this day the best of luck!
