Topic: Anxious and ready to go...July 2nd
I may be an "oldie" (64 next week), but looking forward to a "new" beginning and living a more healthy and active life...would love to hear from any of you to help relieve some of my anxious thoughts as surgery approaches! Love all you guys...so happy to read and share so many wonderful thoughts and ideas on this site (which I only discovered June 14)! Much luck to all you pre-ops...you will all be in my prayers...for HE is indeed the one in charge!

I have been waiting for sooo long it doesn't even seem possible that I am just 26 days away now! I didn't think the day was ever going to get here.
Does anyone else have a July 14 surgery date?

My surgery date is 7/10/03 my pre=op is 7/7/03. I am so nervous, excited , a little scared but oh so ready!! I have gotten so much encouragement from everyone and family is behind me 100%. I know this will not be easy but it is the beginning of a better healthier life. I would love to keep in touch with people having surgery the same day. Please contact me ..thank you! Huggs all!!

Good luck Cheryl, everything will be great! I am having surgery same day and I am excited and nervous too. I trust that the Lord will see me through thsi thing safely and successful, guiding my doctor's hand the entire time. I know he will do the same for you. Please let us keep in touch!! My prayers are with you for best possibel results ever!
