Hey Bob I also have july 1 st. Starting at 12:00 est. I will start a new life I'm in Greenville, S.C. but I will have my surgery in Anderson. Hope all goes well for you and the others that aare also having surgery on that day I will be praying for all of you.

Elizabeth, the date does seem so far away but we will have to endure it together because I am waiting for the same one July 10th
I'm not ready to meet My Maker just yet either, I have a young son that needs me too and I a whole lotta living to do yet also.
I'll keep you in my prayers and I'll see you on the Other Side!

Cheryl, I am having surgery on the 10th also and to say I'm not scared and nervous would be a lie! I just feel that part of life is to take risk, if we are not willing to take risk we may as well crawl up into a box., because every day is a risk it is just part of living, and thats OK just put your trust in the Lord and he'll be there for you. Just a little thing that I have said since I started this journey.....

I'm having surgery July 1 at Houston Northwest Medical Center with Phillip Leggett, MD. I'm having those extreme emotions right now - I can't wait/What am I doing???? Hubby and family is very supportive.

I got my date today and Im about jumping out of my skin, its for July 28th also!! What have I been doing to prepare....trying not to pull my hair out....lol.
Ive been trying to stock up on the protein drinks, some other things dr told me would be nice for me to have and make arrangements for kids and hubby.
What time is your surgery?

I finally have a date and Im so excited....seems like forever...but on a good note...I wanted an earlier date, expected a later one and got something in the middle....cant beat that!! D.
Topic: abnormal upper gi pre-op
Hi guys,
I need your help/suggestions on this one..... I went for my upper GI pre-op testing yesturday and they saw something abnormal, so they took a biopsy, what the heck could it be? Cancer? ulcer? Has anyone experienced this? The results from the biopsy will not be in untill friday, now I'm scared sh--less, I have no major co-morbidities , I thought this is another chance to make a fresh new start, the question is Will I be granted another chance if something majorly is wrong with me? ............................................................
